Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) ; Dr. N. Subrahmanyam, who was present at the sixth annual meeting of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. Neurosurgery retired professor and Chief Neurosurgeon Subrahmanyam (IMA) of King George Hospital was sworn in as the new president of andhra pradesh branch. Health and Family Welfare Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas participated as the chief guest.

Dr. Subrahmanyam stressed on empowering small hospitals in Arogyasri and requested the government to issue fire safety clearance to hospital buildings for all licenses given to hospitals. and height of less than 15 meters and single window facilities.

Minister of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry S.K. Appala Raju, MP B.V. Satyavati (Anakapalle), M.V. Satyanarayana (Visakhapatnam), General Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Anil Kumar Singhal, IMA National President Rajan Sharma, IMA General Secretary R.V. Ashokan was present.
