On the occasion of Nag Panchami, Pachmarhi in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh is a place of place among the dense hills known as Naglok Marg or Nagdwara. It takes devotees two days to travel 12 km from the water lane. Completing the difficult journey of Nagdwara from the serpentine trails on the hills removes the Kalsarpa dosha. It is also said that applying kajal to the Shivalinga in the main cave on the Govindgiri hill in Nagadwara fulfills the desires. Devotees visiting the temple have been visiting the temple for many generations to visit the serpent deity.
