A Former ISIS sex Slave who decided to fight, unlike others who stayed quiet and bear the torture, has become a source for inspiration to many.

Born and raised in the quiet agricultural village of Kocho, Nadia lost her independence on August 3, 2014 when the so called Islamic state - ISIS- attacked the village. Nadia along with her two sisters, women and children were taken captive, subjected to unspeakable crimes.

Nadia has to undergo sexual enslavement. She was beaten up and forced to undress. Worse, she was thrown in a room with men taking advantage of the poor woman. Somehow, she managed to escape the chains of brutality and she was offered an asylum in Germany.

She has now been appointed as the UN Goodwill Ambassador for human trafficking and is fighting for justice. Because of her people got to know about ISIS slaves. She has started her own campaign which helps the ISIS slaves.

Her story and confidence thus has brought hope for the victims of ISIS torture.
