The festival of Nag Panchami is to be celebrated this time on 25 July. The festival of Nag Panchami was earlier celebrated by only a few people, though gradually the whole Sanatan Dharma started celebrating this festival. Nag Devta is worshiped on this day in every corner of the country. Every year Nag Panchami is celebrated on Shukla Panchami of the month of Sawan. One of the main reason behind celebrating Nagpanchami is that Nag Devta is considered the lord of Panchami Tithi.
There is also a law of observing fast on the day of Nag Panchami. Those who observe fast on this day especially worship the Nag Devta. The Nag Devta increase their glory by being enthroned in the neck of Lord Shiva and the bed of Lord Vishnu is also made of Nag Devta. The snake that remains in the throat of Shiva is named Vasuki.
This time there are two special coincidences in Nagpanchami. The first is that this day is also the birth anniversary of Lord Kalki and on this day there will also be the passing of Vinayaka Chaturthi fast. Due to this, this festival is a special coincidence.

Eight Nag Devtas are considered to worship on Nagpanchami whose names are Anant, Vasuki, Padma, Mahapadma, Takshak, Kulir, Karkat, and Shankh. Ashtanga is specially worshiped on this day.

If you also observe fast on Nag Panchami, then for this you should eat only once a day on Chaturthi. Panchami's fast should be opened in the evening by worshiping the nag Devta.
