Naga Chaitanya's 'Love Story' was initially scheduled to release on April 2, 2020, however unfortunately due to the pandemic the film was postponed to January 2021 and pushed even further after the second wave. With things getting back to normal, the film finally released on (Friday) September 24, 2021. Now, as per the new reports, the box office collection of the film is solid with a share of around 10 crores worldwide, which is huge in the current situation. Reportedly, the most surprising number came from the Nizam, where he has collected around 35 crores in 1 day. With strong word of mouth and the weekend, ticket sales are expected to be huge.

The film will reportedly also stand as the biggest opener in India after the second wave. It is also reported that the film has done magic at its USA premiere and regular shows on the first day. On the first day, the audience has gathered in the theaters to watch the film. This will give the necessary oxygen to other filmmakers to dare and release their films in theaters before going for direct OTT streaming.

According to its collection, 'Love Story' is one of the biggest releases of this year. The film has a huge star cast to pull the audience to the theatres. Also, there is a reason to consider the film directed by Sekhar Kammula, an established filmmaker, as a promising project. This film is unlike some other films which have released in the theaters in recent times. The film was well received even after its songs went viral on YouTube and other music platforms. This film, which released yesterday, has also made its fans happy. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are reportedly getting a lot of appreciation for their performances in the film.
