Lakshya is said to be India's first film based on ancient archery. The actor has worked hard on his fitness to ensure that he fits into the role of an archer and the film will see him flaunting his ripped muscles and abs.
Dhirendra Santosh Jagarlapudi is directing this action entertainer, which also stars Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. Apart from this film, Shaurya is also starring in the directorial debut of Laxmi Saumya in which Ritu Varma is playing the lead role. Titled Varudu Kavalenu, the film is all set for Dussehra release on October 15. Naga Shaurya has signed another film under the direction of Anish Krishna. Singer Shirley Setia has been cast in the lead role for this film.
