Today is the birthday of Akkineni Nagarjuna, a well-known actor in the South Indian film industry. He has turned 62. Nagarjuna was born on August 29, 1959, in Chennai. He worked in the film Sudigundalu as a child artist in 1967. He then made his acting debut with the Telugu film 'Vikram' in 1986, which was released in 1983. It was a remake of the Hindi movie 'Hero'. The movie was a super hit. Thereafter, he worked in many big movies.

In 1984, Akkineni Nagarjuna married filmmaker D. Ramanaidu's daughter Laxmi Daggubati, both of whom have a son named Naga Chaitanya. Nagarjuna and Lakshmi's marriage did not last long. About six years later, in 1990, the two divorced. Nagarjuna then married actress Amala Akkineni, both of whom have a son Akhil Akkineni who was born in 1994.

Nagarjuna is said to have loved famous Bollywood actress Tabu. The two met because of work and then they gave each other their hearts, Nagarjuna was married at that time but still, the affair continued. According to reports, the two had an affair for a long time, both of them were in a relationship for nearly 10 years but could not get married. Nagarjuna loved Tabu but did not want to break his marriage. So they did not marry Tabu and the two separated from each other. Tabu loved Nagarjuna very much so she left Mumbai and moved to Hyderabad. Tabu has not married yet.
