The famous daily TV show, Ishqbaaaz actor Nakuul Mehta celebrates his Birthday Today. During this Celebration, In an Interview, he speaks about the #MeToo movement that it is time for men to introspect.
After the movement started in Hollywood in 2017, it took a year for the same to initiate in India, when Tanushree Dutta recalled the happening of sexual harassment by Nana Patekar on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008.After Tanushree didn't give up on anyone question about her story, it gave courage to many women to came forward to speak up and share their experiences and call out the names of sexual predators in the film industry.
After this initiation, So many cases seen, the recent accusations are levied on director Rajkumar Hirani by an assistant director of Sanju. As per source reported, Nakuul Mehta was asked about his views on the Me Too movement. He said, "With the #MeToo revolution, the glass ceiling has been shattered, voices have been heard and gender equality has made it through. Now, it is time for men to introspect. #MeToo has made me introspect too. I think about my behaviour in the workspace and wonder how I can bring in change. Have I been complicit in any way or not stood up for a friend? Men need to understand where their prejudices originate from, acknowledge the conditioning of our environment and have dialogues with people.

Further, he added that this movement has made him also sensitive and he is still figuring out and understanding himself. and things will depend on men and how they listen and make changes and every man needs to do it.
Meanwhile, the actor turns 36 today. On his birthday, from his busy schedule, he will be spending the day time with his grandfather and have dinner with his wife Jankee Parekh along with a few friends.
