In fact, the Shivraj Government had sent a proposal to the Central Government to change the name of Nasrullaganj to Bhairunda, and after obtaining permission from the Union Home Ministry, a gazette notification has been issued by the State Government. Nasrullaganj comes under Budhni, the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Shivraj, and some time back, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced to change its name due to a function organised in Nasrullaganj. Let us tell you that earlier, the Shivraj government had changed the name of Hoshangabad to Narmadapuram and Islam Nagar in Bhopal to Jagdishpur.
