Actor Nana Patekar runs an NGO called Nam Foundation and through this NGO he is going to build houses for flood victims. Patekar has also met the flood victims at Padmajaj School in Shirol. There they have announced to build 500 houses.

Nana, meanwhile, said, "Don't worry. Once you get the roof everything will be fine. Some funds have been given to us by the government. The name Foundation is collecting money. Whatever work we can do we are. We are working together. Many people are also taking the initiative to come and help themselves." The veteran actor further said that "many people are financially helping and he is coming forward because he is confident. Whenever someone is in need we will all stand with them for help."
