On Wednesday, Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and also the IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh cut the ribbon for the 10 IT and ITES companies which are situated in the Tadepalli village. The companies have been constructed in the Amaravati capital with an intention to produce 1,000 jobs.  

As per the information provided, the venture would commence in the area of Vijayawada and also at the NRT Tech Park in Mangalagiri.

Nara Lokesh, during his media interaction, asserted that the entire IT revolution in the Southern part of the country has been started under the supervision of N. Chandrababu Naidu. He also added that due to his leadership, Hyderabad has progressed from being a traditional economic city to an IT services city. He stated that he wants to bring similar changes to the entire state of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Lokesh affirmed that the state government has been providing a pro-actively along with the industry to provide input and also to work on aspects where improvement is required. Talking about the international market, about 80 percent of the total employment is generated by small and medium enterprises.

 

Hence, in Andhra Pradesh, to create any ecosystem SMEs shall play a crucial role.

Therefore, he said that his team had been focussing on the same for a long time. He informed that he has a separate team to work on the big giants in the industry.
