Kangra: A joint team of police and narcotics has recovered a large cache of drugs from a woman from Punjab in the Gagal area under Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Police have seized 177.05 grams of charas from the woman's possession. Also, more than 75000 cash has been recovered. In the religious and tourism sector, there has been a stir in the entire area due to the seizure of such drugs.

The police have also intensified the investigation and started a stringent inquiry to surround those involved in the drug trade. On Friday night, Daisy Verma, 32, a resident of Punjab, who lives in a rented house in Bagli under the joint operation of Narcotics Cell and Gagal Police, runs a Dhaba in Matour, with 177.05 grams of Charas and cash of Rs 75000 has been recovered.
