Morena: Madhya Pradesh Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar felicitated doctors on doctors' day yesterday. "Control of corona infection was possible only as a result of the efforts of doctors and paramedical staff," he said. Just a day before, Shri Tomar said, "Today, on the occasion of Doctors' Day, I thank and integrally the doctors on behalf of the people of the state. Doctors also have to take all measures to save Morena district from the third wave."

At an event held yesterday, Shri Tomar interacted with the doctors. He felicitated the doctors at the event. He reportedly felicitated the doctors who served during the Corona period with shawl shrifal. He said, "Just as doctor colleagues have played a role in corona infection control, you are also expected to cooperate in motivating people for vaccination. Doctors' interaction with the masses is important in removing the confusion and fear of vaccination. All the doctors of Morena district should extend all possible support."

He also said, "The state government is on alert to prevent the third wave of corona virus. Large scale tests are being conducted daily in the district. The objective is to initiate immediate control measures as soon as the third wave strikes. Preparations are continuing to withstand the third wave. Capacity building of hospitals, oxygen production, supply of essential materials, equipment and medicines are being ensured. Training of doctors, paramedical staff is also underway." Mr. Tomar felicitated retired Dr. AK Gupta, Dr. Dharmendra Gupta, Dr. Yogesh Tiwari, Dr. Raghavendra Yadav and other staff nurses, women doctors etc. for discharging medical services and social responsibilities.
