New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday said that the Government of India has held 10-11 talks with farmers union leaders, talks have lasted for more than 50 hours. We have tried to understand their problems, even today the Central Government has every mind to tell us with an open mind the provision to which they object. Tomar also said that we are always ready to think and resolve. The day the proposal comes from the farmers, we will definitely welcome talks.

The Union Agriculture Minister's statement comes at a time when Indian Kisan (Bhakiu) leader Rakesh Tikait is constantly reiterating that the government will not hold talks. On Friday also Bhakiu national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said that we hope the government will not talk. If you don't negotiate, we'll take the next step. The agitation will continue until the Government of India repeals the law and enacts a law on minimum support price (MSP).

Talking about the rehearsals of the tractor's rally at the Ghazipur border, Tikait said that rehearsals are taking place because the 26th is near. The farmer will never forget on the 26th. Farmers will continue to rehearse tractors. Rakesh Tikait insisted that tractors should not forget the way to Delhi so they have to be rehearsed.
