Lucknow: Police have arrested two eunuchs in connection with an attempt to kill a Dalit youth by cutting off his genitals in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. They have been identified as Nargis alias Furkan and Zoya alias Talim. A total of 6 persons including Munna Kinnar are charged in the case. The case is dated 23rd November, 2021. It is said that when the father of the victim reached Munna Kinnar's house in search of him, he found that the youth's genitals had been cut off. He was bleeding.

The accused had fled the spot threatening to kill them when the father protested. According to the report, the family members of the victim complained about the matter to the police. Police have since taken action and nabbed Nargis alias Furkan, a resident of Qureshian locality of Purana town and Zoya alias Tamil, a resident of Deshraj locality. Both the accused have been produced before the court and sent to jail. A case has been registered against the accused under Sections 147, 148, 326, 307, 506 of IPC and Section 3(2) 5 of the SC/ST Act.
The victim's father said in a complaint to the police that he along with his friend had gone to Kinnar Munna's house at 10 pm on Tuesday (November 23, 2021) looking for his son. There they noticed that Munna was accompanied by Nargis alias Furkan, Zoya alias Talim, Nasir and two others who had cut off his son's genitals. When they tried to stop, the accused threatened to kill them too. Police took the victim to the hospital after the complaint. But in view of his serious condition, he was referred to Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Kotwali in-charge Tapeshwar Singh said efforts are on to nab the other accused. According to the report, the youth worked in Ramlila. On receiving information about the incident, officials of Shri Raghubar Ramlila Committee had also gone to the police station and lodged a protest.
