Richa Chadha is facing criticism because of her one controversial tweet. Various people called it insulting to the Indian Army. Richa Chadha is under the radar after she posted a tweet on the 2020 Galwan clash, in which several Indian Army soldiers died.  Various celebrities took to social media to give their opinion on the controversy.

Now the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh (MP Home Minister Narottan Mishra) Dr. Narottam Mishra has also objected to Richa's tweet against the army. Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has asked the police to take legal opinion. Mishra said that she should learn to respect the army Narottam Mishra further told her to, “Understand the difference between real life and reel life, this is the army, not cinema. Richa Chadda's comment is going to hurt the patriots."

He has said that a complaint has been received against Richa. After examining it, an FIR will be registered. He advised the actress to learn to respect the army. This is army, not cinema. Mishra said that the statement given by actress Richa Chadha regarding the army has hurt the patriots of the country. He also asked Richa to share her views on cases like Shraddha’sGruesome murder case Sometimes try staying in minus 30 degree, 45 degree.

The Home Minister further said that the statement of Richa Chadha has hurt the patriots. Richa's mentality is evident to the world. Shraddha was cut into 35 pieces, but not a word came out of her mouth. But when one has to speak against the country and the army, she is the one who appears in the forefront.

This all started with Richa Chadha's tweet, "Galwan says hi". After this the actress took to the social media to apologize. The actress wrote, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part."

She further added, "My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It's in my blood. A whole family is affected when a son is martyred or even injured while saving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally know how it feels. It is an emotive issue for me." Filmmaker Ashok Pandit has filed a complaint against  her at the Juhu police station.  Ashoke Pandit on Thursday filed a complaint against the actor in Juhu Police Station in Mumbai and urged for a First Information Report (FIR) to be registered against her.
