He told the court that according to the report sent by the Nashik Municipal Corporation officials to the Chief Secretary of the state, the oxygen tank was engaged on contract with private company Tayo Nippo Sanso Corporation.

He also said that the responsibility of maintenance and filling of the tank was also the responsibility of the company. On the other hand, AG said, "Oxygen was being supplied but the pressure was low. These tanks were filled with oxygen on the same day. They inspected and found a leak in the valve. The engineer was called in to fix it. Meanwhile, the oxygen pressure fell to such a level that the supply was stopped in a way.
