Veteran England cricketer says, 'Root can break all the records of Test'

London: Former captain of the England cricket team Nasir Hussain believes that the current captain Root is probably the best batsman of all time to face the spin and can break all the Test records made by the country's batsmen. Root had scored 218 runs in the first innings of the first cricket Test against India in Chennai, due to which England was successful in winning by 227 runs on Tuesday.

Nasir Hussain has written in his column for Sky Sports that it is certain that Root is one of England's greatest batsmen. He will probably break all records, he will probably surpass Sir Alastair Cook's 161 Test matches and possibly his number of runs. He has written that he is in a great rhythm, only 30 years old and if you make a list of England's greatest batsmen of all time - whom I have seen playing - this list will surely have Root along with Cook, Graham Gooch and Kevin Pietersen.

Nasir Hussain further said, "I would say that he is probably England's best batsman of all time against spin, the way he sweeps, it looks fantastic." Hussain has said that his big win against India was a perfect performance and it will be one of England's best Test wins.
