The former bureaucrat said that if the current situation worsens then there may be a problem for the startups. Startup companies are running from funds received from venture capitalists. He said that big companies will not cut jobs for two reasons. One, they do not want to lose their employees. Second, there is no shortage of money to give to the employees. Chandrasekhar said that even if some big companies cut jobs, they will exclude temporary or intern employees. He said that as long as the pockets of these companies allow, they will not exclude regular and permanent employees.

Chandrasekhar said that it would depend on how long these conditions last. One month, two months or three months. After that these companies will also come under pressure.
