Stunt twins Anbariv, who won the National Award for their stunt choreography in the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1, have been roped in to do the stunts in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The duo had worked with the director earlier in the Karthi-starrer Kaithi, which is also popular for its stunts. The Master filmmaker tweeted this news on his Twitter page, and wrote, "Welcome onboard @anbariv Masters @ikamalhaasan @RKFI #Vikram." He also shared a pic of the noted stunt choreographers posing with Kamal Haasan and himself in the Ulaganayagan's office in Chennai.

Vikram is said to be an action entertainer and Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi reportedly playing crucial roles in the film. While Fahadh had confirmed his involvement in this project during an interview with media, the inclusion of Vijay Sethupathi, who played the antagonist in the director's previous film, Master, still remains a speculation. Recently, there was buzz that Arjun Das, who got his big break playing the villain in Kaithi and also appeared in a key role in Master, has also been chosen for a key role in Vikram.

Kamal Haasan, who had shot some promotional stills and the teaser for the film, had moved on to his election campaign earlier this year, planning to begin the shoot for this film post the elections. However, with the lockdown resulting in halting of movie shoots in the state, the Vikram team is waiting for the government to give its permission for film shoots.
