National Cat Day is celebrated with joy and it is also celebrated in India and the United States on October 29, the day people take time to appreciate the common domestic cat. The cat is an animal that has been living around humans for the last 12,000 years. National Cat Day was established to bring awareness for the number of homeless cats.

It is mainly celebrated as a festival on 8 August in Canada and 29 October in the United States. It was first celebrated in 2005, according to the National Cat Day website, to help people recognize the number of cats rescued each year, and to encourage cat lovers to celebrate cats in their lives. The day is established by a pet and family lifestyle expert.

Celebrating this day is as easy as doing something good for animal welfare organizations. For example, on this day you can adopt a cat from a shelter, buy your cat a fun new toy or treat, help an elderly person by cleaning their cat box as well as a photographer. Can hire to take a picture of their cat or spend some time. Any of these things are a great way to convince a cat and its contribution to humans.
