Congress, Karnataka and Goa to address political crisis in opposition

With the political challenge of breaking up mlas in Karnataka and Goa since the past, the Modi government is now trying to corner the Modi government in Parliament on the issue of controlling the country's politics with the power of power and money power. Amid a blurred picture of the election of the new Congress president, the party is in touch with other opposition parties to offer a debate on the issue of political sabotage. In particular, efforts are being made to try to woo the parties whose MPs or MLAs have been broken after the Lok Sabha elections and the BJP has inducted them into their own party. Full report going forward

According to a recent information from party sources, the crisis in Karnataka may be seen to be bigger for the government in Karnataka due to the resignation of the MLAs, but from a political point of view, the development in Goa is more serious and worrisome for the Congress. The BJP has tried its best to eliminate the Congress in a way in the province as it has secretly run in Goa and breaking three-thirds of the MLAs. That is why in the past two days, some senior party leaders in Parliament have discussed with the leaders of other opposition parties the strategy of common attack on the BJP's effort in both the Houses. The Congress has also signalled that the Rajya Sabha will come to a standstill on the Karnataka and Goa issue on Friday. The party also raised the issue by trying to move a adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha but there is not much room for opposition parties in the lower house due to the government's overwhelming majority. The Congress is more likely to try to debate the issue of eliminating the opposition in the country with the power and money power.

With only two weeks left for the Parliament session, the government is unlikely to agree to a debate on the issue. In particular, the Rajya Sabha had a debate on electoral reforms last week and the opposition had taken a stand on the changed party law. After the defeat of Chandrababu Naidu in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP inducted four of the Six TDP MPs in the Rajya Sabha by defecting to its party. In the new Assembly of Andhra Pradesh, the BJP does not have a single MLA. Similarly, the BJP, which has been constantly in trouble with Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, has inducted several Trinamool Congress MLAs into its party after the Lok Sabha elections.

Asked about this, senior Congress leader BK Hariprasad, who was among the two special crisis-monuters of the Congress sent to Bengaluru to save the endangered Karnataka government, said that the BJP government had first squandered the strength to liberate the country. Failing to do so, the EVMs and the sectarian frenzy and violent nationalism led to the regime. Hariprasad said that after the Lok Sabha elections, the NEW BJP government is now working on the agenda of making the country "constitution free" and "opposition free". All the tactics, including power power and money power, are being used for this purpose.
