Army Chief Manoj Narwane addressed the program on this occasion. He said, 'Even after the retirement, ex-servicemen continue to build the nation through different areas. The welfare of these veterans is our priority and always has been. Last year, we helped 240 officers and 11,500 JCOs to get jobs after retirement.' He further said, 'We are inducting a total of 1700 women into the Corps Military Police. Training has started for the same.'
