The BSF (Border Security Force) is now using the hi-tech method. So that the continuous infiltration and smuggling along the Indo-Bangladesh border can be curbed. Complaints of smuggling and infiltration on this border had increased greatly, in view of this, now these steps have been taken by BSF. In order to prevent smuggling and infiltration, the security force has installed sensors here and below the ground in addition to state-of-the-art drones.

Apart from this, remote-operated drones, sensors and thermal imager have also been purchased from Israel. Earlier in March, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Integrated Border Management System in Dhubri area of Assam bordering Bangladesh, since then this step has been taken in this direction. Infiltration issue from Bangladesh is not new. , Since the partition of the country from this part, the process of infiltration from across the border continues. In the 1980s, there has been a 6-year agitation in infiltration as well. Even after this, smuggling and infiltration from across the border could not be stopped in any way. Actually, Assam has a 263 km long border with Bangladesh. Of this, 119.1 km area is connected to rivers.

In its statement, the army says that smugglers use only the area along the rivers for animal trafficking and human intrusion. Army soldiers say that there comes a time when it is difficult to keep an eye on 24 hours. Due to the rise of rivers during the monsoon, those areas cannot always be monitored. For this reason, drones, thermal imager and sensors are being used by the Border Security Force (BSF) to keep an eye on such areas.
