The aeronautical development agency is developing this fighter aircraft in collaboration with the Navy. Regarding the matter, the DRDO said that after completion of the noise-based test facility, the Navy Tejas aircraft made an Arrested Landing at INS Vikramaditya at 10:30 AM today. Commodore Jaideep Maulankar made the first landing. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and Indian Navy after Saturday's successful test. He tweeted, "Very happy to know about the first landing on INS Vikramaditya of LCA Tejas developed by DRDO. This successful landing is a spectacular event in the history of the Indian fighter aircraft development program.
