On Thursday evening, Khandwa ATS arrested Ejaz Akram Sheikh, an active member of the banned Indian Mujahideen, who was absconding since the 2006 Mumbai bomb blasts and handed over to Mumbai ATS from Pala Bazar in Burhanpur. After the Mumbai blasts on Aziz, the ATS had registered a case under sections 10 and 13 of the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act. Since then he was absconding and living in Burhanpur. Ijaz Akram Sheikh may also reveal some secrets related to Mumbai bomb blasts in Mumbai ATS inquiry. Significantly, the ATS has also arrested Ilyas Akram from Shaheen Bagh in Okhla, Delhi. Both of them were absconding since 2006. ATS has obtained Ilyas Akram's 3-day transit remand from a Delhi court on Friday.
