After which, on the official website of the Assam National Civil Register (NRC) list being offline, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) says that the data of NRC is safe. Some technical problems have appeared in the cloud. It is being corrected after coming to the notice of this time.

All the details of the citizens associated with the National Citizenship Register of Assam disappeared from the official website. In October, the complete information of all the citizens included in the register and out of the register was uploaded on nrcassam.nic.in. Please tell that in this list, along with 3.11 crore people included in the register, 19.06 lakh people were also completely out of the register. In such a situation, the people of Assam, as well as other people of the country, were surprised. However, the Home Ministry has given the reason for this.

The process of NRC started after the Supreme Court's order in Assam. Nearly 19 lakh people were left out of the final list of NRC published in August 2019. In the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai had informed that if Assam is the name of the parents in the NRC, then the missing children will not be sent to the Detention Center. He said that the Attorney General had stated before the apex court on 6 January 2020 that such children would not be separated from their parents and also would not be sent to the detention center.
