All-party protests are taking place at Jantar Mantar in Delhi led by Dravid Munnetra Kadagam (DMK) over the release of local leaders of Jammu and Kashmir. In the protest, Ghulam Nabi Azad and P. Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram is present. Other leaders, including RJD leader Manoj Jha, Sharad Yadav, CPM member Brinda Karat, Jammu and Kashmir leader Shehla Rashid, are also present in the protest.

The Trinamool Congress has sent senior party leader Dinesh Trivedi as representative in this all-party protest. On behalf of the Samajwadi Party, Ram Gopal Yadav has joined the demonstration. In a statement, Shehla said, "When the Indian Army investigates the case, I will give evidence." Kayat was filed. It seeks the arrest of Shehla for allegedly spreading fake news against the Indian Army and the Indian government.

For your information, the Central Government had removed Articles 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir in the past and it was divided into two parts, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. In view of this, heavy security forces were deployed and mobile and internet services were shut down to maintain law and order. In view of this, several leaders including Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah were taken into custody. This is the first time that an all-party protest is taking place at Jantar Mantar, led by the DMK.
