Addressing an important gathering, Mohan Bhagwat said that, from experience, it has come to the fore that by giving the work of serving the cows to the inmates, their attitude towards committing crime is reduced. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said this on Saturday. Bhagwat was addressing the award ceremony of the Go-Vigyan Adhikaran Sanstha, which conducts research related to cow science.

In his statement, Bhagwat said, 'Cow is the mother of the universe. It nourishes the soil, follows organisms, birds and humans and protects them from diseases. Officials say that when the cowshed is set up in the jails and the inmates start going to Gosseva, then the attitude of committing the crime is reduced.

Apart from this, the Sangh chief said that if we want to bring cow's qualities to the world, then we should prepare a document on it. While studying the mentality of the prisoners, one should study the change in them from Goseva. Stressing on Goseva, Bhagwat said that in such a large society, if every person takes the responsibility of a cow, then there will be no chance of sending any cow to the butcher.
