Hundreds of posters linked to BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya have been removed by the Indore Municipal Corporation. 'Salut Aakashji' was written on the posters. BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya had attacked a municipal official in Indore. He was arrested and remanded to judicial custody till July 7.

BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya's bail plea was dismissed in Indore court in connection with the last day's beating of a municipal official with a cricket bat. The Sessions Court debated and heard arguments, but questioned the jurisdiction and asked them to take the matter to the Special Court in Bhopal.
