New Delhi: Anjum Moudgil, who won a silver medal in the World Championship, has won the gold medal in her name. She has achieved the title of Women's 50m Rifle Prone in National Shooting Trial on Thursday. Tarun Yadav won the men's 50m rifle pro event at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range while Anu Raj Singh won the women's 25m pistol (sports pistol) title.

Anjum, who failed to win a medal in the women's 10m air rifle on Wednesday, won the gold medal in Prone with a score of 619.4 on Thursday. She surpassed former world champion Tejaswini Sawant who was 618 and Finished second with 9 points. In the men's prone event, Delhi's Tarun Yadav won the title with 623.9 points.

In today's only Olympic event final, Anu Raj Singh won the title with a score of 37 in the final. She was ahead of Asian Games champion Rahi Sarnobat who finished second with 29 points. Rahi, however, topped the qualification with 588 points. Neeraj Kumar of the Indian Navy won the junior men's prone event while Ayushi Poddar won the junior women's title. Tanu Rawal Jr. topped the women's 25m pistol.
