Lockdown continues due to corona outbreak across the country for one month. Now in this lockdown 2 states have started giving some concessions. Assam has given a three-day exemption to those trapped away from home or office in the state to return to their home or workplace. This waiver will be available within the state limits starting from 25 April. On the other hand, the Government of Karnataka has announced to give permission to the IT industry companies to work with less staff from Thursday (23 April). Along with this, selected construction works have also been missed. However, it will be necessary to carry out other safety measures along with physical distance.

For your information, let us tell you that the Karnataka government, while announcing the concessions, made it clear that this exemption will not be applicable in the Corona affected areas (Containment Areas). The government said on Wednesday that at least staff in IT offices should be called. Others work from home. Apart from these, plumber, electrician, motor mechanic, IT mechanic, carpenter will be allowed to work. In tea, coffee and rubber plantations, work will be allowed only with fifty percent workers.

In his statement, Chief Secretary of the state TM Vijay said that people facing problems due to lockdown will get a lot of relief from it. At the same time, Assam Health Minister Himanta Vishwa Sarma said that people stranded in the state will have a conditional exemption of three days from April 25 to reach home or office. People have to get permission from the Deputy Commissioner for this. Serious patients who have to go to the hospital, they and their attendants will also have to take a pass from the Deputy Commissioner. Those who are stuck in other districts with their vehicles will also have to take a pass to return home. State transport buses will be made available for those without vehicles. People will have to ask for help on helpline number 104 for bus service.
