Amritsar: The Congress high command has released a list of its star campaigners for the by-elections in Madhya Pradesh. 30 leaders of the party have been included in this list. The great thing is that Congress has also given former Punjab minister Navjot Singh Siddhu a place in the list of star campaigners. Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has not got a place in this list.
It is noteworthy that before this, Congress had released the list of star campaigners in Bihar elections. Punjab CM Captain Amarinder was included in the 11th position in the list of 30-star campaigners. While Navjot Singh Siddhu, who was an important face for Punjab in the 2017 assembly elections, was not included in the list. It is noteworthy that during the Moga rally during the 'Kheti Bachao Yatra' of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Siddhu had fiercely targeted his own government.
At that time political speculations were being made that it could be because of this that Sidhu's name was missing from the Congress list of star campaigners. The Congress included Captain Amarinder Singh in the list of star campaigners. There will be voting on November 3 for Madhya Pradesh by-election, the results of which will be released on November 10.
