Sidhu claims to have the support of 62 MLAs. The number of Congress MLAs in Punjab is 80. Amarinder Singh on Tuesday dismissed reports that Sidhu had sought time to meet him. Amarinder also said that 'the CM will not meet Sidhu unless he publicly apologizes for the derogatory remarks made against him on social media.'
