Chandigarh: The ongoing turmoil within the Congress party in Punjab is yet to be completely stopped. Navjot Singh Sidhu had taken the state government to task after he resigned as the president of the Punjab Congress unit. He is now meeting CM Charanjeet Singh Channi. The meeting between the two is being held at Punjab Bhawan in Chandigarh. Amid the continuing infighting in the Punjab Congress, questions are being raised whether Sidhu's displeasure will come over after meeting CM Channi and whether he will accept it again or not.

Sidhu, who arrived to meet CM Channi, tweeted that DGP IPS Sahota was head of SIT investigating Beadbi case under Badal Govt, he wrongfully indicted two Sikh youth for sacrilege & gave a clean chit to Badals. In 2018, I along with INC Ministers, then PCC Pres & present Home Minister assured them of our support in fight for Justice.''

Earlier, Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted that the 'CM had invited him for a meeting. He will hold talks at Punjab Bhawan in Chandigarh in the afternoon, welcome to any discussion.'
