Amritsar: BJP and former CM Captain Amarinder Singh have joined hands for the assembly elections in Punjab. Congress is also seen in full action on poll preparations. Congress state unit chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has responded to congress preparations to deal with the new alliance in Punjab. Sidhu has also described Arvind Kejriwal as a fake man.

According to Sidhu, Congress is in a very strong position in Punjab. On the ongoing competition on the Punjab model and Delhi model, Sidhu said that we have no competition with anyone. Sidhu also said the Punjab model never says that the treasury is empty. Rather, under the Punjab model, theft is the task of filling the coffers after clamping down on the mafia. Talking about the CM candidate in Punjab, Sidhu said the party high command will decide who will be the chief ministerial candidate.

On PM Narendra Modi's visit to Punjab, Sidhu said that PM comes in five years, but I am engaged in serving the people here every day. Regarding Captain Amarinder, Sidhu said that he is a lost cartridge, he was fired by 78 MLAs. Also said that the Captain had a chance to win the Congress, but he only kept his promise for four and a half years. Sidhu said that even though the Congress had 78 MLAs, the Chief Minister was from the BJP, which was being run by the ED. He said that BJP does politics of fear.
