Not only this but he is also the Chief National Spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party and also the Mumbai City President of the party. Let us tell you that the family of Nawab Malik is originally from the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh. His family had good agriculture and business, the family was financially well off. The Nawab Malik family had small and big businesses in Mumbai. He had a hotel. Along with this, there were some other small businesses along with the business of junk.

Nawab Malik himself once said in response to the BJP's criticism, "Yes, I am a scrap dealer. My father used to do cloth and scrap business in Mumbai. I also did the scrap business till I became MLA. My family still does it. I am proud of it." At the age of 21, the Nawab married Mahjabeen in 1980 and they have two sons and two daughters. His son's name is Faraz and Amir while his daughter's name is Nilofar and Sana. After a lot of hard work and effort, Nawab Malik became the Minister of Higher and Technical Education and Labor as a member of the NCP.
