The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) last week sought a court to declare Nawaz Sharif a criminal in a land case related to Mir Shakeelur Rahman, Editor-in-Chief of Jung Group. The NAB has also issued an arrest warrant against Sharif for not being involved in the investigation even after Sharif has been summoned several times to record his statement in the case.

NAB investigators have also sent a list of questions to Sharif, asking him to record his statement, but Nawaz Sharif did not appear before the investigation team even after that. Sharif is in the UK for his medical treatment.
