Naxal killed two purportedly person in the over suspicion that they were police informers at a village in insurgency hit Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, police said today.
Sub-Divisional Officer of Police, Kurkheda, Abhijit Faske said, The two persons - Mutkurshah Holi, a resident of Khamtala village in Dhanora taluka, and Gangsu Kumoti, belonging to Huriyaldand village in Kurkheda taluka - were missing from their homes for the last two days.
However, thgis morning some villagers clued-up the police that two bodies were lying in a forest near Khamtala village.
A police party was sent to the spot. The bodies were identified and sent for postmortem, Faske said.
