Bijapur: A big news is coming out from Chhattisgarh, in which it is being told that Maoists shot and killed a Congress worker in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The workers had come to attend a wedding program in a village. He is also the sarpanch husband of Aadavali village.

The same Congress worker Ghanshyam had come to attend the wedding in the village of Tadmer Kutru police station area. At the same time more than 6 Maoists came posing as villagers and shot him. After killing the Naxalites fled to the forest. The incident caused a stampede in the program. It is being said that the sarpanch husband has been murdered on the suspicion of an informer. Police reached the spot on Tahrir. SDOP Abhinav Upadhyay said that the matter is being investigated.
