In Sukma district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites again set fire to vehicles engaged in road construction work. According to the information, this incident is from Dhanikorta village in the district, where they set fire to 6 vehicles parked after construction of the road.

According to media reports, vehicles were parked in the village in the evening after the road work in the day. More than a dozen Naxalites entered the village late at around 11 pm on Wednesday and, after getting an opportunity, set fire to the vehicles engaged in road construction and these vehicles were burnt to death. At the same time, other vehicles including JCB, Pokellen, Tector Tipper were engaged in road construction. The Naxalites burnt 2 JCBs, 3 tippers and a Pokemon out of it. They first boiled their diesel tanks and then set them on fire with the same diesel. According to SP Shalabh Sinha, the Naxalites came to the village at around 11 am and set fire to the vehicles parked there. The police is investigating the whole matter.

After executing this incident, leaving the dead body near the village, they escaped from the spot. On receipt of the incident information on Tuesday, the police reached the spot. 10 to 12 uniformed Naxalites arrived in Duwal village of Amabeda area at around 7 pm on Sunday. He took Singarai Coroti (35) out of the house with him and collected people. Naxalites tied a bandage in the hands and eyes of the man and beat him with sticks and strangled him to death, accusing him of whistleblowing. At the same time, he threatened the people that this will be the result of those who are flabbergasted.
