Two Tamil cinema giants Bharathiraja and Ilaiyaraaja are reuniting for a new film. The two legends, who are very close friends in real life, are often in competition with each other and the last time they worked together was in 1992 when 'Nadodi Thendral' returned. Recently both met in Theni and took place on social media. After which he shared his happy bonding pictures and reportedly buried their differences.
The title of this project is 'Aastha' and it is said that Radhika Sarathkumar has an important role in it. It is said that Nayantara has been approached to play a more prominent role.
Another highlight of 'Aastha' is that Vetrimaran is said to be on board and it will contribute to the script. These are all from various sources and have not been officially confirmed and the exact status can be ascertained only after lockdown.
