Mumbai: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB in the Mumbai cruise drugs case has asked independent eyewitness Prabhakar Sail to appear before it today i.e. In fact, an official release recently gave a piece of information about this. Deputy director-general of NCB Dnyaneshwar Singh wrote a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner last Thursday asking the police to inform the cell to appear before the SIT. On the other hand, Mumbai police, which is investigating the extortion allegations against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and others, has recorded Sail's statement.

A release said the NCB team had asked Sail to appear before it last Thursday though it could not be reached despite contacting him at his address and phone. That is why the police have been contacted and asked to appear before it today. Let us also tell you that Prabhakar Sail has been in constant touch with the Mumbai Police and has also recorded his statement before the Mumbai Police. In the same case, Mumbai police took NCB witness Prabhakar Sail to various places in Mumbai on the night of October 27 where Prabhakar Sail had made allegations of money transfer. In fact, the Mumbai Police has also recorded Prabhakar Sail's statement twice in two days.

Police are now collecting CCTV footage of some places in the case. This was mentioned by Sail in its affidavit in connection with the alleged extortion of NCB. Mumbai Police, on the other hand, has informed that they have received four extortion applications against Wankhede and NCB officials. Which is under investigation.
