Pune: The young scientist doing PHD at the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) in Pune, Maharashtra, has been strangled to death. The scientist has been murdered in the mountainous region of Sus village in Pune. The citizens of Morning Walk have informed the police about the murder of 30-year-old Sudarshan alias Balya Baburao Pandit from Jalna.
According to the police, Sudarshan had come to the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune a year and a half ago to do PHD in chemistry. He was living alone in Sutarwadi region. On Saturday morning, the citizens of Pune Police on the morning walk reported that a dead body was found lying in the mountainous area of Sus village. When the police reached the spot, the dead body was found there. The person was identified by the icard lying near the body. There were no clothes on the body, after slitting the throat, the face was crushed with stone so that the deceased has not been identified yet.
The incident was reported by contacting the brother with an I-card placed in his pocket. Crime police inspector Dada Gaikwad said the motive behind the murder has not been ascertained. Further action is on in the case.
