Mumbai: State Minority and Skill Development Minister Nawab Malik in Maharashtra has so far continued to level allegations against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede. He is still making shocking revelations one after the other. Nawab Malik handed over additional documents to the Bombay High Court last Wednesday. In fact, he has alleged that according to the school admission form of NCB Regional Director Sameer Wankhede and primary school certificates, he belongs to the Muslim community.

Let us tell you that in the past, Sameer's father Gyandev Wankhede had filed a defamation case against Minister Nawab Malik, in which he had sought damages of Rs 1.25 crore for Malik's allegations. Wankhede had appealed to the court to stop Malik from making defamation charges against him or his family. Let us also tell all of you that Minister Nawab Malik has claimed that Samir Wankhede's father Gyandev Wankhede had converted to Islam to marry a Muslim and his children, including Sameer, have been raised as Muslims. Not only that, malik had said that Sameer returned to his father's Mahar community, which is a Scheduled Caste, to take advantage of the civil services examination.

You must be aware that in that case, he has shown the birth certificate of Sameer Wankhede to support his allegations, in which his father's name was written as Dawood Wankhede and Muslim in the religious column. Sameer Wankhede's family, on the other hand, says that the birth certificate was not authentic, but Malik's advocate has argued in the high court asking the family to submit Sameer Wankhede's original birth certificate.
