Sajjan Singh Verma said in a statement this morning, "When doctors say that girls are fit to give birth at the age of 15 years, what is the need to make the marriage age at 21 years?" What is the need for girls to marry at the age of 21 years? Instead of making statements on the age of marriage, he should focus on the safety of the girls.
