On Thursday, Delhi's Kejriwal government ordered all government and private schools in the national capital to be closed by 31 March in view of the rising outbreak of the coronavirus for teaching and non-teaching staff. Schools were closed for students only and the examination was going on. Some teachers were being called to the school. However, after this order of the Delhi government, all schools will be completely closed.

Regarding this matter, the Directorate of Education (DOE) said that 'All examinations have been postponed till 31 March. Schools will also be closed for teaching and non-teaching staff. Also, the department said, "Teachers will be required to carry out the assessment work from home for the annual examination, while the evaluation for the board examination has been suspended by the CBSE."
