After a controversy over an advertisement by the Delhi government between the Corona crisis and the lockdown, the Lieutenant Governor immediately dismissed a senior officer, taking a quick action. LG has said in its order that this advertisement disrespects the territorial integrity of India. LG said that on the lines of some neighboring countries, Sikkim has been given a wrong reference in this advertisement. For this reason, quick action has been ordered in this matter. Zero tolerance policy is followed for such work. Instructions have also been given to withdraw the objectionable advertisement immediately.

In this case Delhi CM also said that Sikkim is an unwavering part of India. There should not be such a mistake. It will not be destroyed. He also emphasized that it would be right to cancel this advertisement and strict action should be taken against the officer concerned.
