The recently banned National Dope Test Laboratory (NDTL) has addressed 45 of 47 complaints and objections raised by the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA). After removing these objections, the lab has requested WADA to lift the ban. In a letter written to Wada, it has been said from NDTL that except for two objections of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS), all have been overcome. Jah Lab has invited the WADA team for testing. On the basis of testing, he has given recognition to the lab and asked to restore operations. Wada's team can visit the lab in January.

According to sources, the Sports Ministry and Lab officials met Wada in Poland recently during the World Doping Congress in Katowice (Poland) and met Wada and asked him to visit the lab. The lab has asked the WADA to maintain recognition on the IRMS test of the lab until the objections to the IRMS are resolved, and the tests conducted through it should be recognized, but the validity of all other tests should be restored. The IRMS test coming to the lab will be tested from other WADA accredited labs. Flaws in IRMS were the main reason for the ban imposed by WADA on 20 August this year. The lab had already overcome 38 objections. Seven out of the remaining nine have now been removed.

The help of Belgian Doco Lab, Rome Lab and IRMS specialist Maria Sanchez of Spain has been taken to correct the errors of IRMS. In December, the director of Doha Lab is being called to take stock of Wada's objections and test, leaving no stone unturned during the visit of the WADA team. After the sample ban sent to the ROM lab for the IRMS test, 45 samples open and closed in the lab have been sent to the ROM lab for the IRMS test. Not only this, Wada has also sought a documentation package of 38 samples found positive through IRMS in NDTL from January 1, 2016, to August 20, 2019. The record of these samples has also been sent to Wada by the lab.
