Is NDTV the spokesperson for Taliban?

New Delhi: Hiding the misdeeds of terrorists and arguing their absurd arguments and presenting them to readers/audiences has perhaps become a way of journalism for NDTV. That is why this time NDTV has placed the Taliban on its platform, the terror group that has bent on making Afghanistan a hell. In fact, it was recently reported that the Taliban had killed 22 Afghan security personnel. The news was everywhere, but NDTV has brought a 'reality check' of the news to the audience. NDTV contacted the Taliban spokesman directly and said that the news coming from Afghan is not only a reality but the truth is what the spokesperson of the terrorist organization Taliban is telling on NDTV.

In fact, NDTV has referred to Taliban spokesman Mohammad Sohail Shaheen's statements as true by naming it a reality check. "We don't have a case when we killed surrendered people," the Taliban spokesman said.

"You can't say that Danish was killed by our fighters," Sohail told NDTV on the brutal murder of Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui. He has been killed in cross-firing. Is India a friend or enemy of the Taliban? To this question, NDTV quoted Sohail's reply as saying, "It is up to India whether they are friends or enemies.''

The Taliban spokesman's statement on the forced marriage of 15-year-old girls from Taliban militants was presented to the readers as part of a reality check. In response, Sohail said, "It is against the law of Islam to pressure a man to give his daughter. This cannot happen at all. This is fake news.''

Does the Taliban have Pakistan's support? On this question, Sohail has told NDTV, "You say that Pakistan is behind the Taliban, but I think because of the enmity with Pakistan, you say it, not on the basis of the reality of Afghanistan. A few days ago, Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan tweeted about the pathetic situation in Afghanistan and sought help from the global community.''

Rashid wrote in his tweet that 'Dear world leaders! My country is in chaos, thousands of innocent people, including children and women, are martyred every day, houses and property are being destroyed. One thousand families were displaced. Don't leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans and stop destroying Afghanistan. We want peace.' But NDTV seems to have more faith in the spokesman for terrorists than a respected Cricketer from Afghanistan, that's why perhaps it has presented Sohail Shaheen's statements in the name of 'Reality Check'. What can be expected from the sender of 'damn the gunshot' anyway?
